The Chandelier

Sadly our stay in Healdsburg was short-lived. We must forge ahead in our exploration of the rest of the country. That said, today's drive was only slightly interesting. The road north from Healdsburg looks pretty much like what we've been driving through so far.

Our campground is pretty enough, however, our "loop" has us extremely close to our two immediate neighbors. We can hear every word of every conversation, including an informational discussion about Henry IV which is the play we're going to see tomorrow. We've been very careful to whisper our conversations so as not to bother anyone.

Some higlights of the day included:

-Finding the tourist trap known as the "Chandelier Tree" where you can drive through it and have your picture taken.

-Buying our stadium seats that we've been looking for to use inside the tent when we're blogging at night.

-Rejoining the Pacific Ocean for some spectacular views.

-Getting into our campsite the earliest we have so far and being able to relax and really make a good dinner. [Thanks Susan and Gary for "seasoning" our cast iron skillet]

Tomorrow we are off to Ashland, Oregon to see Henry IV in the Elizabeathan theater at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. I'm really excited!
